The work that it takes to care for patients in this setting is challenging and requires a tremendous amount of collaboration, patience, care and concern. While no facility is perfection this facility did an incredible job in caring for my mom. The individualized care given allowed us to leave her here because we trusted her to be in their hands. Each of us live hundreds of miles away so you could imagine the anxiety anyone would have being so far away. If we had to do this again without hesitation we would choose for her to be here again. Cornerstone nurses, management & staff go above and beyond for their patients!!! My father-in-law was motivated by the PT staff and nurses to participate in daily rehab and gain his strength back each day with their help. Facility was extremely clean. I was very impressed with the kindness and attention that was shown throughout each day of his stay. Grateful to Cornerstone for helping my father-in-law regain his life at home with us. Ryan Holler welcomed us in a very hard time, was always available if we had questions and helped us throughout the rehab journey to reach the main goal of living independently and at home. I have lived at Cornerstone Gardens since September, 2021. It is the very best place to live when it no longer possible to live at home. My family and I had no problem choosing Cornerstone as my new home.  We have had relatives who have been here and then relatives who were at other facilities.  Cornerstone beats the others without question.  The staff is top-notch, like friends, as well as excellent care givers.  They actually care about you!  The cleanliness here is great,  someone is always cleaning; rooms, hallways, community rooms, even the window coverings. If you need a home away from home, come join us.

My mother was recently doing rehab at Cornerstone Gardens and I can not say enough GOOD things about this facility and their staff. From the moment we walked in the front door the front desk ladies greeted us with a warm smile and instantly made us feel like we were part of the family.

We were taken to her room and greeted with another warm smile OUR NURSE, she was very informative and welcoming. Shortly later we were greeted with one of the nurses aides. OMG it was an instant weight lifted from our shoulders to known that we made the right choice for our mother.

From the front door, laundry, housekeeping, maintenance, activities and even dietary. There was not a member in that facility that made me feel unwelcomed. Our food was AMAZING. The entertainment for the patients was uplifting and made it feel less like a medical facility and more like a home setting.

Please if you need care for your loved one DO NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!!

My 90 year old Dad will be heading home on Tuesday!!!! I am so thankful for the Awesome Care he received from Cornerstone Gardens Health and Rehab in Temple Texas! Beautiful, friendly staff!!! PT,OT,Nursing,SW, Case mngmnt, dietary, and housekeeping. Smiles have healing power. Your quality of care is well above standard-I’ve been an RN over 40 years-you are definitely 5 star!!! Truly grateful and appreciative not only for the care you have given him but for seeing him and respecting who he is and keeping his dignity intact.

Great place for rehabilitation

Unfortunately I have been given the opportunity to visit this Rehabilitation and long term center. Very nice and clean. Staffing for this center is fantastic. Rehabilitation area is the best in the Temple area. Staff readily available a assisting all needs of patient. 5 stars is what I have to give. I would give more if I could. I highly recommend this center for Rehab and/or long term.

My mother-in-law has spent about 15 days in rehab at this facility. I was very impressed with the whole staff; very friendly and competent. Their physical and occupational therapy staff were well equipped and knowledgeable of their patients needs.
